Season 11 Mid-Playoff Review

Heading into the final three playoff weeks

Season 11 keeps the GSL-style group and ladder playoffs, with Friday 7 PM ET and/or Saturday 12 PM ET match windows. Matchups are built from live power rankings and groups so players face others near their level (typically within 1–2 groups). Five series are complete and three remain. PulledTheBoys hold the #1 seed and a Finals bye as they chase a fourth straight Team League title.

Compiled from: fsl_schedule, fsl_matches, Players/Teams, rankings.json, and the community voting log.

Scoring basis: map points (1v1, Ace, 2v2). A 1–1 Bo2 is a split — one map each, no sweep.

Four paths still open

Results are direct; the framing stays respectful. Every remaining roster still has something meaningful to play for.

PulledTheBoys

Seed 1 • Two wins and a Finals bye
2–0 series • 21–13 maps

PTB earned the cleanest route through the group with depth across the ranking ladder. LittleReaper #20 · G5 and Neutrophil #9 · G3 are both 5–1 in credited maps, ChienPwn #38 · G10 is 4–0, MvonLipwig #37 · G10 is 3–1, and SaraNghae and Dpoo are each 2–0.

Darkblade #4 · G1’s debut against MedicJR #3 · G1 was a competitive 1–1 split—not a sweep. AntoineQ #6 · G2, RegreT, Infestor-x, and Pebble each sit at 0–2, leaving clear opportunities to reset and contribute when the Finals arrive.

Outlook: The bye is a major advantage, but the long pause also makes preparation and keeping everyone engaged especially important.

PSIOP Gaming

Seed 2 • Living by the Ace
1–2 series • 21–23 maps • Two Ace wins

PSIOP’s record does not fully capture how competitive they have been. Their two victories both came under maximum pressure, with Crankytoaster #18 · G5 and BeanTheBard #43 · G11 closing the deciding games.

Crankytoaster is 6–1 overall, including a 2v2 sweep and the Ace over GreatArchon #19 · G5. BeanTheBard is 5–2 and answered an 0–2 slot against SgtABC by winning the Ace rematch. MedicJR #3 · G1 is 2–4: two 1–1 splits against near-top board opponents, followed by a 0–2 against Chat-Omic #2 · G1.

HurtnTime’s 1v1 results have been difficult, but the 2–0 Week 4 team win with Crankytoaster mattered. LanixMagi also responded to an early loss with later production. Those are useful signs entering the semifinal.

Angry Space Hares

Seed 3 • Elimination week
1–2 series • 18–21 maps

ASH have a strong top end and have stayed within one map of the #2 seed. SunnyD #29 · G8 is 7–1 overall and perfect at 6–0 in 1v1. Chat-Omic #2 · G1 is 5–1, and FRost #11 · G3 opened with a 2–0 over Freeedom before the later forfeit.

GreatArchon #19 · G5 is 3–6 overall when the Week 1 2v2 split is included, rather than winless. His heavy schedule has included several high-leverage slots and the Week 5 Ace. Pacha is 1–7 overall, with the shared 2v2 map showing that even a rough individual stretch can still include team value.

Week 6 is a fresh, self-contained opportunity. ASH do not need to repair the whole season at once; they need one solid series against ST.

Special Tactics

Seed 4 • A dangerous small sample
0–2 series • 10–13 maps

ST are still only one win from the semifinal. HyperTurtle #36 · G9 is 3–1, Parkanian #39 · G10 is 2–2, and SgtABC went 2–0 before dropping the one-map Ace rematch. DarkMenace #1 · G1’s only appearance was a 1–1 split with MedicJR #3 · G1, so the #1-ranked player remains barely sampled.

sOs #10 · G3 and SCVSir took a difficult 0–2 in Week 4’s 2v2, while Fenrir’s 0–2 is a credited no-show forfeit rather than games played. Those distinctions matter when evaluating the roster fairly.

The standings say fourth seed; the map margin says the team has been close. A cleaner availability night and a few converted splits could change the bracket quickly.

ASH3–6Includes a 1–1 opening 2v2 and several high-pressure slots. GreatArchon #19 · G5.
POG2–40–4 in 1v1, but a valuable 2–0 Week 4 2v2 win with Crankytoaster.
ASH1–7The map came in Week 1’s 2v2 split; an elimination match offers a reset.
ST0–2 FFCredited no-show forfeit; no games played.

MedicJR, accurately framed

That line shows two competitive results against the current #4 and #1 on the rankings board before a clean loss to an in-form opponent. It is a challenging start, not three blowouts.

Results ahead of ranking

Rankings need sample-size context

A ranking is a snapshot of community expectation; current maps are a snapshot of recent performance. Neither should be used to reduce a player to one number. Groups keep the ladder playable as ranks move.
